This is a brilliant, versatile recipe, we used to make Teddy Bear biscuits for our Teddy Bears Picnic and bird biscuits for our bird-themed week.
We did this by placing balls of dough touching on the baking sheet before putting them in the oven so they joined together during baking. We added raisins for the teddie’s eyes and noses and the bird’s beaks, added Cheerios that had been broken in half for the bird’s feet and a small spot of food colouring for the bird’s eyes.
