John really wanted some Hot Cross Buns for Easter day, but we couldn’t get out to the shops due to shielding (2020) so I decided to make them. This was the first time I had ever attempted making these and I am quite proud of how they turned out.
I added a little bit of orange flavouring to the cross as I didn’t have all the dried fruit the recipe called for, which I think it worked really well.
